Home Scientific Context 2D-CTTVA method Goals Work Plan Results Reports

The study proposed in this project relies on the in-situ measurements taken on-board the European Space Agency's Cluster mission. The access to the experimental data is open through Cluster Active Archive data base.

The study of this proposal will benefit from the close collaborations established by the lead investigator and by its mentor with senior researchers from Max-Planck Institute for extraterrestrial Physics, Garhing, and Jacobs University Bremen in the field of data analysis from multi-point satellite missions.

The execution of the project is divided into four stages, as follows:

Stage 1, May - November 2013. Streamlining of the data processing.

Stage 2, December 2013 - November 2014. Further development of the 2D-CTTVA method

Stage 3, December 2014 - April 2015. Method evaluation on more 2D, non-planar, MP crossings and study of the MP dynamics .
