Hotel "Cota 1400" welcomes its visitors with a recently renovated look. We have selected it not only because we appreciated the facilities it offers for a scientific meeting, but also for its picturesque location. In the sunny days one can enjoy the panoramic view over the Prahova Valley below, and the majestic peaks of the Bucegi chain - part of the Meridional Carpathians - above.

The hotel offers a comfortable, three stars ambient, combined with the tranquility of a mountain chalet. A good restaurant and a bar, fitness, sauna, and jacuzzi are available for the hotel's guests. Hiking paths, going up to the top of the mountain, at 2000 meters, or down to the beautiful Royal Sheepfold and further to Peles Castle, pass nearby. Easy access to Sinaia, or up, to "Cota 2000" chalet, is possible from the cable car station in some 15 minutes.

As the hotel has recently re-opened after renovation, its web page is available only in Romanian. You can still get a touch of the place and surroundings by taking a look at the photos below.
