In the second workshop week, the workshop participants had to form groups and work on data analysis and modeling projects related to the subjects of the workshop. Project milestones and guidelines were summarized in a separate pdf document. On Thursday, 14 June 2007, the groups presented their results in front of their fellow-participants of the STIINTE school and the participants of the STIMM-2 workshop that took place from 12-16 June 2007 in the same hotel. The high performance of all five teams was unanimously recognized by all nine members of the jury. The outcome of the project period was celebrated during an award ceremony on the evening of the same day.
